Breakfast of champions!

I got this email from Moriah Cribbins, one of Michael's daugthers.

"I remember that every morning my Dad would have a HUGE boul of oatmeal. With SO much butter and SO much brown sugar. Every time that I have oatmeal for breakfast i think of my Dad."

So I got that going for me...

Daniel Chetlin (an old co-worker of myself and Michael) reminded me of a catchphrase that Michael often used. As Daniel says, "... it really represents what i remember as the essence of michael ... he was always positive, especially about and around other people and their lives...". What Daniel says is so true. Cribbins during our time of knowing him could ALWAYS find a positive spin on something. Even if Cribbins' life was crumbling around him he might say something as simple as, "Well, at least both of my shoes are tied... So I got that going for me..."

Sea food?! No... I SHOW food...

Cribbins showing his food. This one comes in from me, Jerry Kilpatrick. Do not think this negative, but this picture sums up how I remember Cribbins. He had a GREAT sense of humor and was always willing to display food or do anything he could to get a laugh or even a shiver in disgust. He went above and beyond to make life not boring. This is where him and I shared our main similarity. Those that know me (especially my wife, sometimes to her dismay) know that I too will do anything to bring a laugh or joy to someone regardless of how funny, icky, or whatever it has to be. It's all about making people happy and this picture is a prime example of Cribbins at his best.
